Spider Royal Python - Python regius

A naturally occurring mutation the Spider Royal (AKA Spider webbed) is both a colour and pattern mutation.

The mutation was proven dominant in 1999 by NERD. The mutation exhibits a minimal dorsal pattern which is black / brown on a background colour of yellow, orange with a greenish hue. The lateral pattern is white and stippled with yellow, grey and orange flecks. Spiders eyes are pale slate green and their tongues are also pale. Head patterns are extremely variable. In summary they look extraordinary.

This mutation crosses extremely well with other mutations and produces some spectacular and beautiful designer combinations with new crosses being produced all the time.
