Pinstripe Royal Python- Python regius
Pinstripes are a pattern mutation where the width of the dark markings are greatly reduced. The amount of ‘pinstriping’ varies from individual to individual. Proven Dominant in 2001 no ‘Super’ form has been produced. When bred to a normal 50% of the offspring will be Pinstripes.
The first cross involving this mutation was the Spinner, a cross between the Spider and the Pinstripe. Others include the Lemon Blast (Pastel X Pinstripe), the King Pin (Lesser Platty X Pinstripe) and more recently the Axanthic Pinstripe.
As you can see they offer great potential to produce new morphs when crossed to other mutations and therefore they are extremely desirable and demand for them is always high..
