Graziani Pastel Royal - Python regius

A naturally occurring heterozygous co-dominant mutation the homozygous form  being the Super Pastel.  Pastels (AKA Pastel Jungles) are black or dark brown with yellow / orange colouring on their sides.  Their black saddling appears faded / washed. They have pale eyes and tongues.

This mutation, as stunning as it is in both its heterozygous and homozygous forms offers massive potential when bred into other mutations.

There are a number of well known ''lines'' of pastels with new ones seemingly popping up all the time.  My Pastels are from the Graziani line - the line that proved out the pastel mutation. They were first bred by Graziani in 1997 and poven to be Co-dominant in 1999 by NERD.

If you want to breed Royal python morphs then good quality Pastels are a must  for your collection.
