Clown Royal Python- Python regius

A simple recessive mutation Clowns are both a pattern and colour mutation.

A naturally occurring naturally hypomelanistic snake they characteristically possess wide dorsal stripes with variable side markings.  They can be reduced or near patternless other than the dorsal striping.  They have distinct patterning around the head and eyes.  There is little to no black tipping around the scales.

The Clown has been crossed into a few other mutations - the Pastel Clown is simply amazing.  There are some really nice crosses to come using the clown
